Coverings

1.Vinyl Flooring

Vinyl flooring is becoming a popular trend in garages. Made from 100% original vinyl, they are incredibly elastic, have a slight cushioning feel, and have a high-gloss appearance of epoxy, available in a variety of mounting styles and designs. Vinyl flooring is 100% waterproof, so washing in a garage in the cold winter is not a problem! 

If you choose vinyl, you will clean and maintain them as you would indoors. You can use a mild detergent to vacuum and mop the floor to keep them looking rustic. 

Most types of vinyl will last 10 to 15 years, depending on the quality you choose.

2.Laminate Flooring

If you don't park your car in a garage and use it as a light work area or living area, laminate flooring is a good choice. This type of floor is resistant to dents from falling tools, scratches moving around the storage system, and other basic wear. 

Although laminate flooring is not suitable for wet or frequent flooding areas, it is more suitable as a living area rather than a storage space when used in dry climates and garages. For laminate flooring, temperature control is critical because the floor can be severely damaged by heat and cold.

3.Mats

4.Tiles

Some options are peel and stick, while the more expensive, and generally more durable choices, are tiles that snap together.

5.Rubber

Rubber is best suited for multi-purpose garages, workshops or gyms. Select the textured surface for maximum grip. The rubber is easy to install and forms a wear-resistant waterproof layer that is very easy to clean.
